The Diversity of an Artist's Life & Career

In conjunction with the close of the 2006 summer intensive, The Artist's Crossing launched a panel discussion series that included artists in all areas of professional theatre. The discussion took place on August 6th from 6 PM through 8 PM at The Barrow Group Theatre (312 W. 36th Street, 6th floor, The Garret).

"The panel discussions will provide a forum for artists to talk in-depth about process and craft; sharing their experiences and insights about the industry and working in the theatre. These discussions will be open to the general public," state press notes.

The August 6, 2006 panel entitled “The Diversity of an Artist's Life and Career,” was moderated by Judith Blazer (Bernarda Alba, Titanic), and featured Mary Testa (Marie Christine, See What I Wanna See), David Garrison (Wicked, "Married With Children"), Mary Mitchell Campbell (Musical Director and Orchestrator for Broadway revival of Company), Martin Moran (Spamalot, author of The Tricky Part), and Tony Walton (Oscar-winner for All That Jazz, Emmy-winner for Death of a Salesman and 3-time Tony Award-winner).
